As practitioners, The Psychology Network offers evidence based assessment and intervention to individuals, couples and groups experiencing a range of personal or psychological challenges.

We are facilitators, trainers, supervisors, programme developers and consultants who deliver supervision, training and resource packages to a variety of human services and corporate organisations to assist with staff training and development. The Psychology Network assists clients in the areas of addictive behaviours, mood and anxiety, relationship and sexuality issues, mental health concerns, stress and a range of other psychological difficulties.

We are specialists in assessment and intervention in a range of forensic domains, including criminal justice, family violence, harmful sexual behaviour, pornography, gambling and substance abuse and addiction.

The Psychology Network engages in a range of delivery modes drawing on a wide range of evidence based psychological practices including assessments, individual clinical intervention, group work, individual supervision, group supervision and whole staff training.

The Psychology Network employs models and relevant research from cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy, art therapy, group therapy, motivational interviewing, focal conflict theory, mindfulness models, solution focused therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy to engender success and change.

The Psychology Network places a real focus on the therapeutic alliance between practitioner and client to develop and promote trust, care and compassion, which enhances opportunity for change. The client groups that The Psychology Network works with include adults, couples, adolescents, groups, and whole teams based in the Bay of Plenty and nationwide.
